Job Title:                Executive Director

Reports to:            Board of Directors

Manages:              Staff of  two part-time employees

Budget Size:          $100,000

 

Overview of Responsibilities and Duties:

The Executive Director is the spiritual leader & chief executive officer of the Organization, conducting its administration in accordance with Godly biblical principles and  policies set by the board of directors.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 - To Be the Chief Positive Ambassador for the Lord and the Organization, by revealing a life of prayer, submitted to the teaching of Holy Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. A primary guiding scripture will be, "The just shall live by  faith." Hab 2:4.
 

 - Human resource policy development & administration including defining & updating job descriptions for staff positions, delineating tasks, conducting regular employee evaluations, and  hiring/firing

 
 - Establish good caring working team relationship with Office Mgr., Program Dir., and Dir. of Development and all staff and by example, encourage and empower them to move toward creativity and excellence to the Glory of God.
 
 - Annual budget development and financial management, including cash flow projections and monitoring.
 
 - Assist with and share responsibility for Fundraising  including preparation of special project proposals with cost effective budgets( also including grant research, writing, management and reporting, special events planning and implementation, and developing an individual giving program)
 
 - To provide leadership with Board of Directors Policy Development, Training & Care-Giving.
 
 - Spearhead a strategic planning process including establishing goals and objectives for ministry growth and development with periodic progress evaluations/adjustments.
 
 - Develop current viable marketing strategies to let the community know we are here w/major focus on Website development, upgrading brochures, moving to professional printing of ministry materials, DVD Promo Production, maybe called "Operation Upgrade" or "Operation Awareness"
 
 - Position will also require occasional media interviews, speaking at evening and weekend ministry presentations, attendance at National Conferences and Trainings
 
 - Facilitate growing partnerships with a multi-cultural population, especially a large Afro-American community and a growing Hispanic community.

 

Job Qualifications:

Life Experience:              Submitted to the absolute Lordship of Jesus Christ

         At least 4 years of personal in-depth healing work via a combination of one-on-     

                                         one counseling, group process, & time alone with God

                Education:                      Bachelor's Degree

Wk. Experience:             5 years leadership experience dealing with sexual brokenness w/ a focus on

                                                         S. S.A.

         3 years experience in Office Management

Computer Literate:         Familiar with Windows Office Suite, Quickbooks, Web Maintenance

Good  Communicator:   Good Written & Spoken Communication Skills

Team Player:                   Comfortable with developing  & promoting team leadership
